Grilling and getting ready for Summer Fun!

This project was great fun – good elements….. Diversity, food, health and energy.

We had the help of good models from Modelogic (thanks Stacie and Dana) and good locations and props provided by Double Image.

Getting ready for Summer fun right around the corner!

We recently had the opportunity to be a part of a diversity campaign for McGuire Woods legal firms…

McGuire Woods is a  great firm that has  a lot of strength with their diversity initiatives.

We photographed in different locations from Washington, DC, Chicago, Los Angeles, Virginia and North Carolina,

over the course of several months to create ads and a specialized annual report of some of

their top partners…

We were approached by Popular Photography to give photo tips and travel experiences and they listed us as one of their expert photographers in their April 2010 issue. They wanted to hear about our Iceland adventures and we were happy to share our experience!

As we return to Barichara, we were invited to visit my fathers childhood home. The look on the faces of his siblings as they entered and experienced so many things that were similar to decades ago were lovely. We continued to view the town, the park named in my uncle’s honor, the little drug store my grandfather owned and supported his family with, the house and the local flavor. The chapel, where my father was baptized, still projects all services over an intercom for the city to hear.

The adventure continued, Susan stayed in the town of San Gil. This is the town where her father went to high school. There was a trip to the Parque Nacional of Chicomocha.
The park can be accessed on a tram ride that dips to the bottom of the mountain and within 35 minutes to the top. Dishes of wonderful meats skewered, arepas, yuga and cold cervesas awaited us. Delicious foods and views from the top.
